Father Cimatti received the diploma "Choral Master" from the Parma National Conservatory of Music in 1900.
After coming to Japan as a missionary, he continued to compose many pieces, including mass music, school songs, and operas, totaling approximately 1,000 pieces.
The group has also given more than 2,000 concerts throughout Japan.
Currently, the Cimatti Museum carefully preserves these scores, including some handwritten by Father Cimatti. Some of the scores have also been published, and some have been released on CD.
You can also listen to some of them on this website.
